Want to add something that’s a little bit different and that means something to you? For example a painting can be created of your home; a town that you visit on holiday; the building that you got married in or your holiday home. You can turn your favourite buildings into a unique piece of original artwork.

You can choose if you would like the piece to be painted in the colours of the image given, or if you would like it in purple/gold/black which is Sophia’s signature palette. If you wish to have several buildings to be included then Sophia will send you a couple of composition ideas before the image is painted for your feedback before the final composition is painted.

The process of getting a piece of artwork commissioned by Sophia B:

  1. Choose several (if possible) images where there is no flash light, as natural light generally makes a better quality painting. Please ensure that the photos are large and sharp. I will be able to work from photos where the building is more than 3 inches long
  2. Submit the image (s) to Sophia via email (ideally) or by post in which case I will send you them back in immaculate condition with the finished piece of artwork with your selection of the size of the canvas that you would like to use. You can find the table of canvas sizes here
  3. Sophia will then contact you by phone to discuss the cost and approximate time of delivery of the painting based upon the size of the canvas, the type of building and the number of buildings.
  4. If you wish to proceed then Sophia will contact you within 2 working days with a couple of compositions to choose from, before proceeding with the final composition.

Delivery

All canvases are painted to customer requirements and have a dispatch time of 21-28 days, delivery times for more complex commissions may take up to 40 days. Sophia always aims to get your painting to you as soon as possible and will give you an estimated completion date upon taking your order.

All deliveries are made between 9am & 5pm Mon-Fri, they do require a signature.
